Espresso Powder

Easy homemade/DIY espresso powder that is perfect for baking!

A common ingredient in baking is espresso powder and it’s easy to make your own! You basically save up some used espresso grinds, dry them out bake them until nice and toasty before grinding them a second time, this time into a finer powder. This espresso powder is great is baking where you can use it to add coffee as a primary flavour to any recipe or as a secondary or enhancing flavour, like in chocolate/mocha recipes where it actually enhances the chocolate flavour! I can’t wait to start sharing some recipes that use espresso powder!
